More locally, this weekend at the Sir Julius Vogel Awards ceremony, some very deserving artists and fans were recognised. Congratulations to all the nominees and winners! I will write a full report about Context, the 2011 National Science Fiction Conference, when I have stopped sonambulating.

Finally, there has been this teasing article about Peter Thiel. This sort of thing is one of the reasons why I support piracy and am excited about the changes in publishing. The road ahead looks unbelievably interesting, and the more people who participate, the better! I don’t want interaction with what I create artificially limited.
