Mr. Pratt

Winston Pratt is a man sadly altered.

He used to run a quaint and pretty pub, the Hog and Whistle, in New Regent Street. However, since the death of his clever and charming wife Winsome it has become clear that the glory days of both Mr. Pratt, and The Hog and Whistle, are far behind them. Uncharitable souls whisper that Mr. Pratt has become too fond of his wares – that he is drinking all his profits – and clearly he and the bar are both looking ever more unloved.

Despite rumpled clothing, and a frowsy demeanor, Mr. Pratt has a good heart. Ironically, it is just possible that being the victim of a crime will start him on the road to redemption.
